A cottage on Mirror Lake.

A one bedroom Master Piece.

He designed it one year before his death in 1958. He never saw it completed, it was built in 1959. The Great architect died in 1959. I just serendipitously discovered it on an early morning exploration, camping at Mirror Lake State Park.

All the right gear, all well broken in, I’m not the only nature lover.

She was on a mission.

Checking some kind of trap line, wildlife observation, I don’t know. In and out of here just like that, right across the lake and back… Came with a ATV, with a canoe hanging off the back of it. And packing a handgun on a right side hip. Crazy

Swimming in the Wilderness

I always wear a life jacket. I can’t swim, I would drown for sure without one. But; with, a life jacket on, I’m fearless, I know I won’t sink. I hear a distant thunderstorm, possibly approaching. I am prepared. I am now surrounded by thunder to my left and to my right. I am waiting for the frontal assault. It was 95° when I was swimming.
