This is the only photo of the two travelers to Norway on this Rover trip in July 2014. I think, if I got my facts straight, some guy wanted me to take his picture, I said no problem, and he returned the favor. It takes 2 1/2 hours to get here. So plan accordingly. That's after you take the ferry from Stavanger. A lot of these places in Norway, you can plan a full day, just to get there.

  • This is the loop that we made in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness last weekend. 1/10 to 13/2014. The trip was organized and lead by Patrick Elliott. There was three of us Patrick and David and myself Jim. We had a fantastic time as we arrived just when the polar vortex cleared the area. So we had temperatures in the teens and 20s but overcast the whole time. We were back there four days and three nights. Each number on this map represents one 10th of a mile. We covered 12 to 13 miles pulling sleds with our camping gear.
