This is the beach at the Seven Seas Campground near Faqardo. I spent two nights camped here, this is sunrise.

I cannot take butane canisters for my stove on the airplane. I was not able to find butane for my gas stove. But I did find some Sterno that I could cook with.

This was my campsite for two nights at the Seven Seas Campground near Fajardo.

El Yunque National Forest. The only tropical rain forest in the national park system. I spent a fair amount of time hiking the trail system in this national Forest. This photo was taken at the visitor center by the entrance to the forest.

From the top of Mount El Yunque, about a 5 mile hike round trip from the trailhead. In the distance you can see the town of the Luquillo to the left. And in the upper right you can see the town of Fajardo. So from here you can see the whole north eastern corner of Puerto Rico.

Also from the top of Mount El Yunque. You can see the observation tower as a very small lighter object on the left side of the photograph. In the next photograph I was standing on the top of that observation tower looking up at this mountain.

There are a couple of observation towers that you can climb to the top of to get a view of the surrounding forest. In this photograph I am at the top of the observation tower looking up at Mount El Yunque. The previous photograph was taken from the top of that mountain looking down at this observation tower.
