In Fagernes there is another one of these folkemuseums. They are all over Norway. Buildings from the local area are moved to a central location to preserve them for history. There is a big variation from one area to the next. The norwegians have a sense of history and want to save it.
Built in the 1840s. this road follows an ancient path. It's a 15 minute walk from the Borgund Stave-church. It's the first road across Norway connecting east and west.
