I had a 12 hour layover at JFK. So I took the LIR to Penn central and walk around Midtown. This is Times Square.
I rented this motorcycle and this was one of the first sites that I saw in Iceland after jumping on the bike.

Wild sheep run all over Iceland. You can buy handknit Icelandic sweaters all over Iceland even in gas stations!
A crevice in the earth leading to Iceland's highest waterfall.
Me being the bonehead photographer had to see if I could walk up and see the waterfall.
I got pretty close before I had to turn back,... proper judgment prevailed.

I drove the motorcycle as far as I could go. The glacier stopped me. If I would've had the key to one of these sleds I could've made it all the way to the top.
The most traveled woman of the time. She was born here in Iceland moved to Greenland then North America... gave birth to the first European in North America then traveled back to Norway and then to mainland Europe and Rome.

The Icelandic horse. They have survived for 1000 years they came over on Viking ships.
