This is halfway between the Bestul and the Brekke farm. Pretty isolated area of Norway. Make pioneer history come alive.
The white houses are referred to as upper and lower. The farm is built on a slope, in Norwegian, that's what Brekke means, a slope. I owe my last name to the fact that this farm was built on a slope.
Nedre Brekke (lower Brekke) on the right. Ovre Brekke (upper Brekke) on the left. Thanks to Gard Strom !..., for the effort, of finding this, from the, Bygdebok, and sending it to me!
