  • Playing football is a big deal in Iceland. This field is right next to the campground in Reykjavik. For some reason I had my camera on the wrong setting and it took three exposures, but it turned okay.

  • I walked by this group of people under this tarp. It was a cold windy rainy day and I thought it was kind of neat how they have it set up. So I asked if I could take their photo and they all turned and smiled.

  • This was taken just before striking out on a one night backpacking trip. The waterfall is Skogafoss. The trail follows this river. We hiked 12.6 km up with an elevation change of 910 m. It was one waterfall after another. We eventually found the Baldvinsskali hut to stay in. Three Irish guys showed up also. The temperature was in the 40s with a strong wind and intermittent rain, it would've been a tough night in the tents.

If you look to the right you will see Heidi standing overlooking this waterfall. She is a much faster hiker than me.
